The Group was assembled by experienced drivers who made the 5 days Pro Trip. After 1 Day learning track in Idhan Awbari and a Camp in Camp Africa



we moved toward the great Sand Sea Idhan Murzuq and discovered the incredible capabilities and fun on a Polaris Sportsman ATV. Seeking for the biggest Dunes and deepest holes we passed, PLANET DUNES left a deep impression in the heart of our guests!

March 2009

we had a Beginners trip around the Mandara Lake. The Client was never before in Libya, never before sitting on a ATV, never before driving in thee dunes.

Starting with a introduction to the Vehicle and general driving directions in the Basestation,
we startet directly to our trainingsarea. After 10 km road we reached a very flat Dune area and began with driving on flat sand. On this Day we finished folloing items:
- safe packing of the ATV
- Handling of the Vehicle: how to operate the ATV
- Handling2: Accelating, breaking, turns and sharp turns
- Handling3: soft sand starting and stopping
- Dunes1: intensive training on the triningsdune: Uphill slow and with momentum
- Dunes 2: Downhill driving: how to , breaking, keeping slow speed

It was a unforgettable experience and very fascinating driving under safe conditions with an experienced instructor.

Dear Guest,

Our Trips includes all services inside Libya, starting from your arrival in Tripoli until your departure (see also our List of Services). Flights from your home to Tripoli are not included in this list, therefor we ask you to contact Polaris Voyages. They offer you also to book the whole trip at once. All Prices for a 5 Person Group, price per person.

4 Days Trip, 6 days journey: 1945 € (Beginners Tour, Pioneers Track) (4 Persons: 2168.-€)

5 Days Trip, 7 days journey: 2145 € (ATV Drivers Tour, Contrebandiers Track) (4 Persons: 2280.-€)

6 Days Trip, 8 days journey: 2450 € (Sportsman Desert Ranger Track) (4 Persons: 2650.-€)

Option Accaus: Extension 2 Day, inclusive transfer 2x340km, Truck and Minibus: 345 € to 465€

required security deposit (for each ATV):
2000€ for ATV, GPS, Sat-Tracker Damage or loss (Credit card deposit or bank wire transfer). The Deposit is required 1 week in advance. 100% of your deposit returns 1st work-day after end of journey and final vehicle and equipment check. Please consider 100€ cash to change into Libyan Dinar for personal shopping, souveniers etc.

Individual Trips for Tour operators and clients with own Tour guide, we offer also the chance to rent our ATV's as a extra option to your trips for a individual price:
